Today marks 21 years of me living in Belgium! Wow! I can’t believe it’s been that long! I just thank the Lord for His faithfulness! I thank Him for my church and Zambian families who embraced me and made me part of their families! I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for all of you.
My life in Belgium has been a very challenging one but I thank God that I have a sister whose shoulder I can cry one and pour my heart to and won’t judge me, a little sister somewhere I can enjoy some nshima with and share a laugh, another sister where I can enjoy some chapatti & chai masala, and another where can enjoy some pepper soup, a mother who gives me some tough love and makes sure i am okay and helps me to get out my comfort zone and dare to try new things, a brother who watches my back, nieces and nephews, ‘grand babies’ I love to bits etc.
My heart is full! I am overwhelmed by the love you’ve all shown me over the years. I couldn’t help but shed a tear today because when I arrived, I only knew the people in the house where I was lived but now I have an extended family, thanks to the good God I serve! Indeed family isn’t blood relatives only but friends who become family too. I cant name all you by name, but you know who you are. May the good Lord bless you and your families more abundantly! I love you! ❤️💕🥰😘.
