At the beginning of this year, I decided to create a more structured routine to organise and prioritize my day. Organising my day was one of my 2018 resolutions, so it had to be done.
My day starts quite early, so I struggled the first few days but I was so determined to get my day organised.
Here is how my day looks like on Monday to Friday:
4:45 – Alarm goes off. I roll out of bed and make my hot lemon water and drink to flush out the system:-)
5:00 am 6 am – Devotion and Quiet time: I start my day with a devotion and quiet time because its important for me to commit the day ahead of me into God’s hands. My day feels better when I start it with God.

6 am – 7 am: I go for a run or do a work out video at home, which is usually Focus T25 or Max 30 work out programmes by Shaun T.
7 am – 8/8:15: Shower and prepare for work (I am still struggling with preparing what to wear the night before, so I decide as I shower.
8:25 am: Take the bus and tram to work.
9 am – 5 pm: Work
5:45 – 6 pm: Arrive back home
6 pm – 6:15: Shower and Pjs on
6:30 pm – 7:30: Prepare and eat dinner
8 pm – 10:30: Knit or catch up on Netflix series to unwind
10:30 pm – 11 pm: Brush teeth, moisturize my face and hands
11:00pm – 11:30 pm: Recap of my morning devotion, prayer time and lights out!
Saturday – Saturday is the day I wake up slowly, I sleep in sometimes or just stay in bed on the phone or read a book and It’s also laundry and grocery shopping day.
I sometimes go for a long walk in the park or go for a run depending on the mood.
I do my praise and worship as I do my chores around the house
Sunday – Sunday is the day of rest – I go to church between 10am and 1pm and I am home around 2pm, then I just chill with Netflix series or take a nap after lunch.
