Hey Lovely people!
My home group is doing these questions and I thought I share with all you lovely people who have set goals or resolutions.
Reflecting on 2017
What do you have to thank God for?
I am thankful for good health, my family and friends
What was your biggest challenge
My biggest challenge was to forgive someone who intentionally hurt me and didn’t show remorse or apologise
What main lesson did God teach you?
God taught me to trust Him and know that He’s working everything out for my good behind the scenes
What is something you regret?
One I regret is trying to so things on my own instead of asking God for guidance.
Looking ahead to 2018
What’s one thing you could do this year to increase your enjoyment of God?
Trusting God and His promises knowing that He never fails
What’s the most humanly impossible thing you will ask God to do for you this year?
To be financially independent
In which spiritual discipline do you most want to make progress this year, and what will you do about it?
My Quiet Time – I’ve set my quiet time at 5:30am every morning for bible reading and prayer. I love it and I look forward to it every morning and I feel great knowing that I am starting the day with Lord.
What is the single biggest time-waster in your life, and what will you do about it?
Social Media is my biggest time-waster. I’ve started minimising the time I am social media by turning off my phone for specific period time of the day and I turn it off when I go to bed and I only turn it in the morning after my morning reflection and workout. I am now getting used to it and I am glad I can now have time to even read a book or write a blog post.
What is the most helpful new way you could strengthen your church?
By praying for the leaders of the church and getting involved in the church ministries.
For whose salvation will you pray most fervently this year?
I will pray most fervently for my unsaved family & friends and backslidden Christian family & friends
What’s the most important way you will, by God’s grace, try to make this year different from last year?
I will make this year different, by taking good care of myself before I take care of others, asking God to for guidance in my decisions and to trust Him to see me through this year.
What single thing that you plan to do this year will matter most in ten years? In eternity?
To grow spiritually by studying God’s word and having a prayerful life.
I hope this post helps you as work towards achieving your goals or resolutions for this year.
God bless
Dee
These are great questions! I also ask myself questions about the previous year and about he upcoming year — a few little different ones, focusing on what I want to achieve!

These are such good questions, and those I need to ask myself! I am trying to wake up earlier each morning to have a quiet time of prayer before the hustle and bustle of the day begins. It is so important!

Yes it is. Starting the day with a devotion, makes me less anxious knowing that I’ve covered the day in prayer

Great post. I often forget to reflect on life because it’s so busy! These questions definitely help you to think about where I’ve come from, and where I’d like to go.
