Recently, I realised that I haven’t worn my favourite perfume for a while because of course it’s very pricey, so I bought cheaper ones instead because of other financial obligations.

When Christmas came along, I said to myself, why don’t I treat myself to some good old Hypnotic Poison by Dior, my all-time favourite perfume.

I didn’t look twice about the price, I just went for it. If I don’t do it for myself, who will? I do so much for others, so this time I was going to be selfish and think about myself for once. Putting yourself first is okay once in a while, no one else will do it for you.

Just before the holidays my friend gave me a gift voucher of €20, so I just added €50 and bought myself a 50 ml bottle.

I love Hypnotic Poison because it lasts, a little goes a long way, no need to use too much and it has a sweet-smelling fragrance but not too strong. Next time you go shopping for perfume, try on the tester.
